    I  was born December 30th 1970 in Maine to Stephanie and Gary Marker. Gary and Stephanie parted ways not long after that, and Stephanie was not much a part of my life. Gary a few years later met and eventually married Lori, who took on the stressful responsibility of raising me. Trust me, this was no easy task. Lori managed to leave a lasting impression on me, and aside from that fact that biologically we are not related, I love her dearly as if we were.  I can't say enough about who she is, and the role she played and influences she had on my upbringing.

    Throughout the years, I proved to be a very stubborn and defiant child. I know I was hard on them, and our years could have been better, but it doesnt change how much appreciation I have for them. mom and Dad always found themselves involved in my life, from CubScouts, to Little League, to any of the various other clubs and school groups I found myself in. I'm still sorry about splitting their eardrums while in Band while I learned the Saxophone! It wasnt pretty, but, ya know, I can still pick up a woodwind and belt out a few half decent notes.
